The AOL weather feature on AOL.com can be used to check the current temperature and forecast in one simple click. The new AOL weather page can store multiple locations, view the forecast by the hour, get your 10-Day outlook and catch up on weather-related news.
View the weather
The current weather can be viewed on the AOL homepage. Today’s weather is shown in the top-left corner of the page, just below the AOL logo. This is our weather pulse feature, where the weather and city will be displayed. Click on the current temperature to open AOL Weather and get a detailed forecast.
Set your location
1. Go to the AOL homepage.
2. Locate the Enter City/Zip box in the top-left corner of the page.
3. Type in your city or ZIP code and click the desired location from the list that appears.
Add or edit your locations
1. Go to the AOL homepage.
2. Click the weather icon in the top-left corner of the page.
3.Select the Settings icon next to current city name
- The Location Settings menu will appear.
4. Select Add New Location.
5. In the City or ZIP code search bar enter the ZIP code or city you wish to track
6. Select the city name to add the location.
Remove a city - Select the Settings icon next to the current city name and click the X next to the city you'd like to remove.
Weather preferences and views
Forecast views
You can see your locations weather forecast in an hourly or 10 day view by using the toggle just below the sunrise and sunset times.
Forecast details
The top left corner of the weather box will display your locations general weather information. For additional weather details your can select the drop down arrow under the current temperature.
Temperature unit setting
When navigating the weather page your temperature unit preference can be set to Fahrenheit or Celsius by using the toggle in the top right corner of the weather box.
