The AOL software allows you to customize your email controls to suit your personal preferences. You get to choose who can and cannot send you email. How toBlock emails from certain peopleYou can customize your Mail Controls to block emails from specific senders. Notes:
To block emails only from certain people Note: This keyword can be accessed only within the AOL software. If you are using AOL Desktop v10.1, read our help article How do I block emails from an email address on AOL Desktop v10.1. 2. In Sender Filter, click the Block mail from addresses I specify option.
3. In the text box, type the email address that you want to block. Note: You can add multiple email addresses by separating each email address by a comma.
4. Click Save.

Unblock a senderIf you accidentally blocked someone and you no longer receive emails from that person, you can unblock the person at anytime. To unblock a sender Note: This keyword can be accessed only within the AOL software. However, the keyword feature is not available in AOL Desktop v10.1. 2. In the Block mail from addresses I specify text box, remove the email address that you wish to receive emails from.
3. Click Save.
