Configuring AOL Parental Controls software

AOL offers a variety of information and educational features. However, not everything on AOL, or the rest of the Internet, is suitable for children. The AOL Parental Controls software helps you control your child's online experience to ensure that it is safer, fun and enriching. You determine the people and places he or she can access based on your comfort level as well as your child's maturity level.

Important: AOL Parental Controls settings are enforced only when using the AOL software. For these controls to be enforced, users must sign on with an AOL screenname and password before accessing the Internet through the AOL Software. If you have not already installed the AOL Software, please visit Discover AOL to do so.
