| You can receive instant messages (IMs) from AIM® users, ICQ® users, and mobile numbers that may or may not be on your Buddy List® window.
When you receive an instant message from a buddy who is on your Buddy List, the message will automatically appear on your computer screen.
When you receive an IM from a person who's not on your Buddy List, you will receive an Unknown Sender message. Click Read IM to view the IM.
Notes:
- If you want to add the person to your Buddy List, click Add to List, and then select the group to which you want to add your new buddy. A confirmation message will be displayed.
- If you get offensive IMs from unknown senders, you can click Report this User and follow the on-screen instructions.
