How to delete cookies with Internet Explorer 5.0

Whenever you visit certain websites, temporary internet files and cookies are stored on your computer to keep a memory of the sites you’ve visited. These stored files can be helpful to access information faster but can clog your computer’s disk space. It’s a good idea to occasionally clean your disk space by clearing your cookies, cache, history and footprints. Keep in mind: When you clear your cookies, cache, history and footprints, you may lose information in your shopping cart, customized pages, websites you’ve visited and AOL Radio presets.

To clear cache, cookies and history for Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools menu, then click Internet Options....
3. On the General tab, under the Temporary Internet files section, click Delete Files... to clear cache.
4. Under the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete files... to clear the cache.
5. Click OK.
6. Under the Temporary Internet files section, click Delete Cookies... to clear cookies.
7. Click OK.
8. Under the History section, click Clear History to clear history.
9. Click Yes.
10. Click OK.

To clear cache, cookies and history for Internet Explorer 7.0:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools menu, then click Internet Options.
3. On the General tab, under the Browsing history section, click Delete....
4. Under the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete files... to clear the cache.
5. Click Yes.
6. Under the Cookies section, click Delete cookies... to clear cookies.
7. Click Yes.
8. Under the History section, click Delete history... to clear history.
9. Click Yes.
10. Click Close to close the Delete Browsing History window.
11. Close the Internet Options window.
