How do I set AOL Desktop v10.1 browser home page?

When you first launch the AOL Desktop v10.1 software, AOL.com opens as the default home page. Use tabbed browsing to tailor your home page environment to suit your preference.

Create more than one home page

You can make more than one Web page you are viewing load each time you open AOL Desktop v10.1.

To add a home page
1. Launch the AOL Desktop v10.1 software.
2. On the Browser window, click the Settings menu, and then click General.

Note: If the images are different from what you see on your computer, you do not have the latest version of AOL® Desktop software. Please install the latest version of AOL Desktop v10.1 software.

3. In the Home Pages section, enter the URL of the Web page you want as your home page, and then click Add.

4. Click Save.

Note: You can set as many Home pages you wish to. Follow the above instructions to keep adding to the settings.

Remove a Home page

To remove a home page
1. Launch the AOL Desktop v10.1 software.
2. On the Browser window, click the Settings menu, and then click General.

3. In the Home Pages section, highlight the URL you wish to remove, and then click Remove.

Note: If you wish to have only one Home page, ensure the URL of the desired Web page is at the top of the list. Check the Only open the first home page in my list box.

4. Click Save.

Note: You can set as many Home pages you wish to. Follow the above instructions to keep adding to the settings.
