Sync AOL contacts and calendar with Microsoft Outlook

With the new AOL Sync Powered by Funambol, you can sync your AOL contacts and calendar with Microsoft Outlook.

Before you sync your contacts and calendar with your Outlook, you need to install the Outlook plug-in. The requirements to use the Funambol plug-in for Outlook are as follows:

• Microsoft Windows XP or Vista
• Outlook 2002 (XP), 2003, or 2007
• Funambol Portal login entries (Username and password)
• Location or URL of the Funambol server: https://msync.aol.com/sync

Notes:

• If you have previously installed Funambol Outlook plug-in, ensure that you uninstall it first.

To sync AOL contacts and calendar with Outlook

1. Go to http://sync.syncmlweb.aol.com/main.do and sign on with your Username and password.

2. Click the Outlook Plugin Download Software link.

3. Click Run.

4. Click Run.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

6. Once the installation is complete, click Start, select Programs, click Microsoft Office, and then click Microsoft Outlook.

7. On the Funambol menu, click Options.

8. Click Account.

9. In the Username box, type your AOL Username.

10. In the Password box, type your password.

11. Click Sync.

12. Select what you want to sync with your phone, and then click OK.

13. Click Sync All.

You can now view your AOL contacts and calendar on your Microsoft Outlook software.
