Making and checking AOL Travel reservations

How do I make a reservation?

On the right-hand side of any page in AOL Travel you find the Book A Trip box. Reservation choices include Flights, Hotels, Cars, Cruises and Vacations. Select and click the icon representing the type of reservation you want to make. Fill in the requested information and click Search. In each search, a new window will open. Follow the prompts to make your reservation.

How do I find my reservation?

Please use the steps below to access and print your upcoming or past dated trips.

1. Click AOL Travel here, log-in or click on View your travel account located on the right side of the homepage.

2. Click on the My Reservations tab.

3. Review the Upcoming or Past Trips section in My Reservations.

4. Click the View button to open the trip details.

5. Click the Print this page link located at the top right of the reservation.

Notes

  • If you have more than one account, make sure you are accessing the account under which the booking was made.
  • Trips will eventually expire from the system. A reminder by the View button will appear letting you know the date at which your trip will disappear. If needed, print out your trip details before that date.

Still can't find your trip? For Upcoming trips only:

1. Look on the right-hand side of the AOL Travel main page under the heading Booked with AOL Travel?

2. Click on See your reservations online.

3. On the My Reservations tab scroll down to the Search by Reservation ID section.

4. Type in your trip ID located at the bottom of the My Reservations page.

5. Click on Search to find an itinerary.

If you are still unable to view your trip details or you have a past dated receipt, please send us an email at AOL Travel Customer Help or call 1-877-439-0277.

Why didn’t I receive a confirmation email for my reservation?

After completing your booking you should receive a confirmation page with your Trip ID. If you did not receive your confirmation email, we recommend that you check to make sure that your confirmation email did not go to your spam folder. All existing reservations (except Last Minute Weekends) may be viewed at any time.

To review your current reservations:

  • On the AOL Travel main page in the Travel Tools section located on the right-hand column of the page, click the View My Travel Reservations link.
  • Enter your Username and password.
  • Review the Upcoming Trips section to find the reservation you want.
  • Click the View button. A new page will open with the details of your trip.

Note: If you do not see your trip, you can look up your trip information by entering your Trip ID number. If you still do not see your trip, please email us the details of your booking by clicking the Customer Care link at the bottom of the Customer Support page. The AOL Travel eCare Team will make every attempt to reply to you within three hours. If you need immediate assistance, please call us at 1-877-439-0277. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Special instructions for hotel, car and Last Minute Weekend reservations

Last Minute Weekend:

If you have not received your confirmation email, most likely we are still processing your order and confirming your booking with our partners. If it has been more than 24 hours since you made your reservation and you have not received a confirmation email, please email us the details of your booking by clicking the Customer Care link at the bottom of the Customer Support page. Be sure to indicate that your booking is a Last Minute Weekend in the Product or Service drop down menu. The AOL Travel eCare Team will make every attempt to reply to you within three hours. To reach us by phone, please call 1-877-439-0277.

Hotel reservations:

When contacting us to inquire about your hotel reservations, please be sure to include the following information in your email to Customer Care:

  • Name of the person making the reservation
  • Hotel name and location
  • Your check-in and check-out dates
  • The hotel rate

Car reservations:

Car rental companies may take up to 24 hours to respond with a confirmation. When contacting us, please be sure to include the following information in your email to Customer Care:

  • Name of the person making the reservation
  • Rental location or airport name
  • Pick up and return dates
  • Name of the car rental company
