Installing DataMask by AOL

To install DataMask by AOL:

1. If you purchased DataMask by AOL on Lifestore, log in with the email address from which you purchased the product. Locate the Order Confirmation email that you received when you subscribed to DataMask by AOL and click the GET STARTED NOW button.

Alternatively, if you received DataMask by AOL as a benefit with your AOL Advantage Plan, visit mybenefits.aol.com, sign in with your Username or Email and Password, locate DataMask by AOL and click Download Now.

2. Click Run.

3. Close all open application and then click Next.

4. After reading the License Agreement, click I Agree.

5. Select whether you’d like to reboot your computer now or later by clicking the appropriate radio button. Then click Finish.

Once you restart your computer DataMask by AOL will automatically begin running on all major web browsers including Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, FireFox 3 or higher and Google Chrome. Anything you type into the web fields in the web browser is scrambled and replaced with false, random characters.
