How do I send emails to an Address Book group on AOL Desktop v10.1?

Once you've set up a group in your AOL Address Book, it is easy to send emails to the people in that group. You can send an email to multiple email addresses at one go by using your Address Book groups.

Note: If the images given below are different from what you see on your computer, you do not have the latest version of AOL Desktop v10.1. Please install the latest version of AOL Desktop v10.1.

To send an email to a group

1. Launch AOL Desktop v10.1.

2. On the AOL toolbar, click the Mail icon. If prompted, enter your screen name and password, and then click Sign In.

3. On the upper right of the Mail window, click Address Book.

Notes:

In AOL Desktop v10.1, Address Book groups are referred to as Mailing Lists.
If you have not set up any mailing lists yet, refer to the online help article How do I create or edit an AOL Address Book group on AOL Desktop v10.1?

4. Click the Mailing List drop-down menu, and then click View.

5. In the left panel, right-click the group or mailing list name, select Write Mail, and then click To.

6. In the Mail - Compose window that opens, write your email message, and then click Send.

7. Click Close.

8. Close all open windows.
