Archived- Issues with AOL one-click fix

AOL is no longer updating the One-Click Fix feature, even though the feature is still available when you download Computer Check-Up. Additionally, has articles that contain instructions to manually perform the actions that One-Click Fix performs.

Listed below are some issues that you may face while using One-Click Fix. Please click the issue that you are facing from the list given below to know more about the issue and how to resolve it.

To uninstall One-Click Fix
1. On the Windows taskbar, next to the clock, right-click the AOL icon, and then click System Information.

2. Click the AOL Software tab.

3. Scroll down to the autofixDriver and click Open App. Folder.

4. Click the Minimize button to minimize the folder.

5. On the System Information window, click the Utilities tab.

6. Next to Close All AOL Programs, click Close AOL, and then click OK.

7. Next to AOL Process Shut Down, click Start, and then click OK.

8. On the Windows taskbar, click the C:\program files\... button to re-open the folder that you had minimized earlier.

9. Click the Edit menu, and then click Select All.

10. Tap the Delete key on your keyboard.

11. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

12. Close all open windows.
