New AOL Favorites

Change is good right? Of course! So, in an effort to provide a better experience for our members and allow them to take advantage of many new services, we are transitioning the current myAOL site to a new version of AOL.com. On November 15, 2011, a feature of myAOL called AOL Favorites on the Web will retire as part of this transition.

IMPORTANT: This change only affects the web version of Favorites. Favorites in the AOL Desktop Software will not be affected. If you have stored Favorites on Internet Explorer, you can access them on the AOL Desktop Software. To learn how to access, save and organize your Favorites using the AOL Desktop Software, please read the help article About Favorite Places.

To help you with this transition, emails are being sent to current users of myAOL, informing them of the upcoming change. Below is an example of what the first email looks like:

Because we want this transition to be as smooth and easy as possible, two additional emails will be sent reminding you of this change.

Note: After you have exported your feeds and bookmarks, you will then be able to import them into your web browser or an alternate Favorites or Reader site.
