In extreme cases, we’ll also help you reformat your computer.

All you have to do is call 1-855-718-2781 to speak with our tech experts and they’ll help you fix your computer as best as possible.

How do I get AOL Help Me Fix It?

To use AOL Help Me Fix It, simply call 1-855-718-2781. A friendly tech expert will ask you a few questions and then walk you through troubleshooting and fixing your computer.

If you are not on an eligible plan listed above, please call 1-800-827-6364 to learn more about upgrading your account.

Do I need an internet connection to use AOL Help Me Fix It?

Nope! You don’t need an internet connection to use AOL Help Me Fix It. Our tech experts will do their best to help you fix your computer over the phone.

We do recommend a broadband internet connection if you want us to take care of your computer issues on our own. We can remotely connect to your computer and perform the troubleshooting while you kick back and relax.

Is there a limit to how often I can use AOL Help Me Fix It?

There’s no limit. You can call in to use AOL Help Me Fix It as many times as you want, as long as you’re subscribed to an eligible MyBenefits plan.

Is there a limit to how many computers I can use AOL Help Me Fix It with?

At this time, we’re restricting use of the service to four (4) computers.

Is this the same as technical support?

Short answer: No. Long answer: AOL's technical support representatives provide assistance with AOL Desktop Software, connection help, and assistance with other AOL products – 24/7! Our AOL Help Me Fix It tech experts are equally knowledgeable about AOL products and services – but can provide you with additional support related to improving the performance of your computer.

When can I call AOL Help Me Fix It?

Will AOL Help Me Fix It work on my computer? Are there any system requirements?

AOL Help Me Setup is designed to work with Mac OS 10.6 and above, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. We plan to support future Microsoft and Apple operating systems as well.

To make things a bit smoother, we recommend a broadband internet connection and administrator-level access to the computer you want to fix. This will enable our tech experts to remotely connect to your computer and perform a system tune-up. In the event that you don’t have access to a broadband internet connection or cannot obtain administrator-level access, we’ll still do our best to help you troubleshoot and repair your computer.

I have a Mac. Can I still use AOL Help Me Fix It?

Yep! We support Apple computers running Mac OS 10.6 and above.

What happens to AOL Help Me Fix It if I change my AOL Advantage Plan?

If you change your AOL MyBenefits plan to an ineligible plan, you will no longer have access to AOL Help Me Fix It.
