How do I add a feed?

Add a Feed or Add Any Feed allows you to configure a module for any feed on the Web. So if you can't find it in our gallery, no big deal. Just locate the URL of the feed that you want and then configure the Add a Feed module.

Clicking on Add a Feed from the Module gallery or from the Add Content area will place a configurable feed module on your page. You will have a couple of different fields to enter to set up the module:

  • Title: The identifier you want to see in the title bar. Example: My Local Daily News
  • Feed URL: You will need to locate the feed address (RSS, Atom or XML URL) that corresponds with the feed you want to configure. For example, you can go to a site like CNN® and look for the myAOL™ button (

Adding a feed can be done by clicking on the myAOL button on any page that hosts a feed. In addition, you can include a feed within the myAOL Favorites by clicking the Add feed button and then entering the site or URL.

How do I share my feeds?

With myAOL Favorites, you can share an individual feed item via e-mail from the feeds tab by clicking the "envelope" icon next to each individual item in a feed. Upon clicking the envelope icon, a popup window will prompt you for email information. What more, you can even save that article as a Web bookmark for later use by simply clicking the "heart with the plus" icon!

To share multiple feeds, you can give Mix & Share a whirl.
