When it comes to your computer's safety, even two's too much company. Accordingly, the McAfee Internet Security Suite software cannot be used in conjunction with other security products; you must uninstall your existing security software before installing McAfee Internet Security Suite. To determine whether you have another security program running, choose from the following two options: Option 1: Using the programs menu1. Click Start, then click All Programs or Programs. 2. Review the programs in the list for any security software. 3. If you find another security program on your computer, here's how to uninstall third-party security software. Option 2: Search Add/Remove Programs1. Open Control Panel. 2. Double-click the Add/Remove or Add or Remove icon. Note: If you're using Windows 7/Vista, click the Uninstall a Program or Program and Features link. 3. Review the Currently Installed Programs list for any security programs.4.
