Clear AOL Artwork Database using AOL 8.0/7.0/6.0

Important: We provide limited support for older versions of the AOL software, such as AOL 7.0 and AOL 6.0. If you are still using any of these older versions, we suggest that you upgrade to the latest version of the AOL software by going to http://daol.aol.com/software.

To purge the artwork database using AOL 8.0/7.0/6.0

1. Start the AOL software, but do not sign on.

2. On the AOL toolbar, click the Settings drop-down menu, and then click Preferences.

3. In the Preferences window, click the Font, Text & Graphics link.

4. In the Graphics Preferences section, click the Maximum disk space to use for online art drop-down arrow and lower the value to the lowest setting, and then click Save.

5. Click X in the upper-right corner of the Preferences window.

6. On the AOL toolbar, click the File menu, and then click Exit.

7. Start the AOL software once again, but do not sign on.
8. On the AOL toolbar, click the Settings drop-down menu, and then click Preferences.

9. In the Preferences window, click the Font, Text & Graphics link.

10. In the Graphics Preferences section, click the Maximum disk space to use for online art drop-down arrow and increase the value to a maximum of 40 megabyte(s), and then click Save.

11. Click X in the upper-right corner of the Preferences window.

12. Sign on to AOL.
