Delete browser cache and rebuild AOL adapter using ACS 4 and 3

1. Open AOL System Information.
  • If you are using Windows 8, on the Windows taskbar, right-click the AOL icon, and then click System Information. If prompted by the User Account Control, click Yes.

  • If you are using Windows 7/Vista, click the Start button. In the Search box, type system. Click AOL System Information. If prompted by the User Account Control window, click Yes or Continue.

    Note: If no window appears, check the Windows taskbar for a flashing tab. If the flashing tab is displayed on the Windows taskbar, click the flashing tab. The User Account Control window will now appear. Click Yes to open AOL System Information.

  • If you are using Windows XP/2000/Me/98, click Start, and then click Run. In the Run window, type sinf and then click OK. Click OK on the Caution window if prompted.

2. Click the Utilities tab.

3. In the Browser section, next to Current Cache, click Clear.

4. Rebuild AOL Adapter.

  • If you are using ACS 4, under AOL Utilities, next to Rebuild AOL Adapter, click Start.

  • If you are using ACS 3, under AOL Utilities, next to AOL Adapter, click Rebuild.

5. Click OK. If you are using Windows 7, skip to .

6. Click Close.

7. Close all open windows.

8. Launch the AOL software to sign on to the AOL service.
