| You can send Instant Messages (IMs) from your computer to any mobile phone number. The IM recipient does not need an AOL or AIM screen name, any specific phone, or a specific wireless service provider to receive the IM. However, unless the recipient's mobile phone and service provider supports a two-way IM service, the recipient will not be able to respond to the message. The recipients will be able to respond to IMs only if they are using a two-way text messaging phone and their wireless service provider supports AOL's two-way Mobile IM capability. The recipients will see your screen name in the body of the text message. When they receive your IM, their phone will alert them of the new message.
