Callers hear too many rings before calls are sent to voicemail on AOL Call Alert

If callers are hearing too many rings before a call is sent to voicemail, you can change the number of rings on your voicemail settings to a lower number. In voicemail settings, you have the option to set the number of rings before a call is directed to the voicemail service.

To set the number of rings to a lower value
1. Go to AOL Keyword: Voicemail or visit https://dashboard.voice.aol.com.

Note: If prompted, sign on using your registered Username and password.

2. Click the Settings link.
3. Click the Call Alert link.
4. Under Call Handling, select the Show call alert and send directly to voicemail after option, and then select the number of rings from the drop-down.
5. Click Save. Close the AOL Voicemail page. Going forward, your calls will be directed to the voicemail service much faster.
