| Through e-mail, you can get in touch with your friends, family, and co-workers quickly and easily. Unfortunately, this facility is abused by some people. They send out a large number of unwanted and unsolicited e-mails. AOL provides you with the means to report unwanted e-mail to help you keep yourself safe online. You can send an e-mail to the AOL® Community Action Team to report violations of the AOL Terms of Service. Choose the appropriate version of the AOL software that you are using from the list given below to report e-mail violations.
To report e-mail violations on AOL® Desktop 1. Click the Mail icon. 2. Click the e-mail that you want to report. 3. Click Report Spam.
To report e-mail violations for AOL 8.0 or higher 1. On the AOL toolbar, click the Read icon. 2. Click the e-mail you that want to report. 3. Click Report Spam.
To report e-mail violations for AOL 7.0 1. On the AOL toolbar, click the Read icon. 2. Click the e-mail that you want to report. 3. Click Notify AOL. 4. In the text box, type your report. 5. Click Send Report.
To report e-mail violations for AOL 6.0 1. On the AOL toolbar, click the Read icon. 2. Double-click the e-mail that you want to report. 3. Click Forward. 4. In the Send To box, type the screen name TOSEmail1, and then click Send.
