How to Get a Stock Quote

You can get stock quotes from the header on any page in AOL® Money & Finance channel.

Notes:

• Stock quotes are "delayed," meaning that the data is at least 15 or 20 minutes old. Before you make any trade or investment decision, you should always contact your broker or financial advisor to confirm the most recent quote in real-time.
• If a real-time quote is available, it will display under the delayed quote.

How to Get a Stock Quote

You can get stock quotes searching on the stock symbol in AOL® money & finance channel.

Get Direct Stock Quotes

To get a direct stock quote:
On the right side of the site header at the top of each page, type the stock symbol in the Enter a Symbol: box, then click the Get Quote button to display the information.

Note: The Quotes page displays the latest information about the requested stock.

Use Symbol Search to Get Quotes

You can lookup for any symbol on the AOL money & finance mobile portal.

To get a stock quote using a search for a stock symbol:
1. Type the symbol in the text box under Enter a Symbol or Look up: on the AOL® money & finance home page.

Note: You can view the following details for any stock. The last trade index, the appreciation / depreciation, the previous close index, the volume of sales, the average volume, the earnings per share, the price to earnings ratio, the yield and market capitalization.

Note: To view the monthly and yearly charts of the stock, click the One Month or One Year links respectively.

Use Symbol Lookup to Get Quotes

To get a stock quote using a search for a stock symbol:
1. Leave the Enter a Symbol: box blank, then click the Get Quote button. TheQuotes page will be opened.
2. Click the Symbol Lookup link.
3. In the Enter a company name or partial ticker symbol below: box, type the company name, or the first few characters of the symbol, then click the Lookup button.
4. Click the link that corresponds to the symbol for which you want to view quotes.

Note: The Quotes page displays the latest information about the requested stock.
