The Retirement area on AOL Money & Finance contains links to articles and tools for planning and saving for retirement. From the main Retirement page, you'll find retirement planning calculators and step-by-step guides to help in planning for your retirement.
To access the Retirement area:
On the navigation bar at the top of any AOL Money& Finance page, in the PERSONAL FINANCE drop-down menu, click Retirement, or go to AOL® Keyword: Retirement.

Calculate the Amount You Need to Save for Retirement
To find out if you're saving enough money for retirement, you can use the retirement planning calculator on AOL Money & Finance to calculate how much you need to save based on your current investments, salary, and estimated future expenses.
To use the retirement planning calculator:
1. On the Retirement page, in the Retirement Tools section, click the Am I Saving Enough? link.
2. In the Personal Information section, in the Current age box, type your and your spouse's current age.
3. In the Yearly income boxes, type the respective annual income that you and your spouse receive.
4. In the Age at retirement boxes, type the respective ages at which you anticipate that you and your spouse will retire.
5. Complete the remainder of the form, as appropriate for you and your spouse, then click the Next button. The number of months your retirement will be fully funded will be displayed on the Results tab.
6. Click the Next button. A visual representation of the results will be displayed in 2 graphs, Total owned over time and Paying for your expenses, on the Graphs tab.
