You can permanently store e-mail messages in a special online
folder called Saved on AOL, when you read
AOL® WebMail.
Save E-Mail Permanently to Your Saved on AOL® folder on AOL.com®Your e-mails can be accessed from any computer via AOL WebMail or via the AOL® service, even if you aren't using your own computer.
1. Go to http://www.webmail.aol.com, and sign on to the service.
2. In the upper left, next to Search box, click the Mail button.
3. Click the name of the folder to the left side of your mailbox window.
4. Click the box to the left of the message you would like to move, to
place a check mark in it.
5. Click the Action drop-down menu, then clickSaved Mail, or any other folder you may have
created, to move the messages to. If you wish to organize the mail that
you save into separate folders, click (New
Folder), type the name of the new folder, then click theSave button.
Notes: - The messages you selected are no longer displayed in your
current mailbox window. They have been moved to theSaved on AOL folder you selected or
to a new folder that you created. To view those moved
messages, click the name of the Saved on
AOL folder under Mail.
- Your Saved on AOL Mail folder has no
size limit, providing you with unlimited storage for all your
e-mail and attachments.
- You can delete messages from your Saved on
AOL folder like other mail folders.
- The Saved on AOL Mail folder is
available to users of AOL® 8.0 for Windows® software and
above, as well as users of AOL® for Mac® OSX. Others can take advantage of Saved on
AOL Mail with unlimited storage, at http://webmail.aol.com.
