| Although the AOL® spam filter catches most spam and junk e-mail sent to your e-mail address, there will be times when some mails get past the spam filter. You can report such mails as spam to AOL. All messages that you report will be moved to your Spam folder; the AOL® spam filtering system will prevent further spam messages from entering your New Mail folder or Inbox. To report an e-mail as spam in AOL® 5.0 and 6.0 1. In the New Mail window, double-click the message that you wish to report as spam. 2. Click Forward. 3. In the Send To box, type Tosemail1. 4. Click Send.
To report an e-mail as spam in AOL® 7.0 1. In the New Mail window, click the e-mail that you wish to report to highlight it. It is not necessary to open the e-mail. 2. Click Notify AOL at the bottom of the Mail window. 3. Type any additional comments that you wish to add in the box provided, and then click Send Report.

Notes:
- In AOL 8.0, type any comments you have in the Optional Comments box, and then click either the Send Report button or the Send and Block button. The Send and Block option will send the report and automatically block the e-mail address.
- In all versions of AOL 9.0, clicking Report Spam automatically reports and blocks the spam e-mail.
- When using AOL® WebMail at AOL.com, clicking Report Spam automatically reports and blocks the spam e-mail.
