| You can obtain the AOL® software in the following three ways:
Note: AOL 9.5 is not compatible with Windows 2000/Me/98. If you are using Windows 2000/Me/98, you can install AOL 9.0 VR.
To download AOL 9.5 from the Web
1. On the Internet, go to http://daol.aol.com/software.
2. Under AOL 9.5, click Download Now.
3. Click Run.
4. Click Run again.
5. Click I Agree, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
To download AOL 9.0 VR from the Web
1. On the Internet, go to http://daol.aol.com/software.
2. Click AOL 9.5 details.
3. Click the Windows Me/98 SE users please click here link.
4. Click Download Now.
5. Click Run.
6. Click Run again.
7. Close all open applications, and then click OK.
8. Click I Agree, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Depending on the version of the Windows® operating system that you are using, the location of the setup file will be as follows:
- Windows Vista®: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\AOL Downloads\
- Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\AOL Downloads\aolsetup90\
- Windows 2000: C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Application Data\AOL Downloads\
- Windows Me/98: C:\AOL Downloads\aolsetup90\
3. Double-click the downloaded file, and then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
