How do I block e-mails from an e-mail address in AOL WebMail?

Spam Settings in AOL® WebMail lets you block e-mails from specific e-mail addresses or domains.

Note: A domain is the part of the e-mail address after the @ symbol. For example, if the e-mail address is address@aol.com, then aol.com® is the domain.

If you don't want to receive e-mails from a specific e-mail address or domain, you can add the address or domain to your list of blocked e-mail addresses and domains.

To block an e-mail address or a domain
1. Sign on to AOL WebMail by going to http://webmail.aol.com.
2. On the upper right, click the Settings link.

3. In the left panel, click the Spam Settings link.

4. Click the Sender Filter drop-down menu, and then click Block mail from addresses I specify.

5. In the Enter Screen Name or Email Address box, type the e-mail address or domain name that you wish to block.

6. Click the + button to add the e-mail address or domain name to the list.

7. At the bottom of the page, click Save.

Note: Alternatively, you can also block an e-mail from your Inbox or the New Mail folder. Just right-click the e-mail that you wish to block, and then click Report Spam.

8. Click Check Mail to return to your e-mails.
