The new AOL® sync portal provides a free service that allows you to
- Perform over-the-air backup or synchronization of your contacts and calendar across multiple platforms such as your mobile phone, Outlook®, and even iPod.
- Sync contacts from your AOL address book to an iPhone™.
Note: To use this service, your mobile phone must have an Internet connection (e.g., GPRS, EDGE, or UMTS) and a mobile data plan. Without a data plan, you may incur costly data charges. If you are unsure about your data plan, check with your mobile operator.

Why can't I sync my calendar with my iPhone?
Unfortunately, Apple has not made available the support necessary for us to add calendar syncing on the iPhone. As an alternative, we have our Web-based calendar specifically made for the iPhone. The iPhone calendar as well as e-mail is available by entering http://webmail.aol.com/ into the Safari browser on your iPhone. For more details about our iPhone calendar support, visit our AOL mail blog.
