| You may receive the message “ [ScreenName] is unable to accept the request ” because you are trying to initiate a buddy chat, video chat, voice chat, or file transfer with a buddy who is using a version of the AIM® software which doesn't support this feature. To check which features a buddy's AIM software supports: - On the Buddy List, hover the mouse pointer over your buddy's
Screen Name, then note which features are listed underCapabilities:.
- On the Buddy List, double-click your buddy's Screen Name, then
note which features are listed under Capabilities:.
Your buddy will need to upgrade their version of the AIM software
in order to participate in any of the enhanced features.
