Family Filter

The Family Filter allows parents to turn adult content on or off for any video searches. The family filter default is on for each new search, and only adults have the ability to turn the family filter off. The Family Filter must be turned off each time a search is done if adult content is desired to be included within the search results.

Note: Only General Access accounts and unauthenticated users will have access to change the Family Filter status.

To turn the filter off, click the Family Filter is On box to clear it.

First Search Result Highlighted in Yellow

When a search result is highlighted in yellow, it represents a collection of videos, not just one video. Click the picture or the link and you will see the videos available in this collection. A collection may, for example, be a set of episodes for a particular TV show.

Video Search Results may Open in Two Windows

Clicking video results from the Web may open two windows. AOL Video Search opens both AOL® Video Player and the original Web site containing the video content. This is done to give full credit to the original owners or hosts of the file.
