Cookies are very small files that store information you enter on a webpage, such as passwords or login information. These stored files are designed to make a webpage more convenient to use and can be helpful, but they can also fill up your computer’s disk space. It’s a good idea to occasionally clean your disk space by clearing your cookies, cache, history and footprints; however, if cookies are completely disabled, some webpages may not display properly or open at all.
