| You may not be able to receive AOL® Alerts for any one of
several reasons. After trying the first solution, check if your
AOL Alerts are coming through. If you are still unable to receive
your alerts, continue using the suggested solutions until the
problem is fixed.
You may wish to print or save a copy of these instructions as this
page may not remain visible as you go through the suggested steps.
Solutions
Alert Limits
There is currently a limit of 40 Alerts. This limit applies to a
total of ALL alerts, not just the stock alerts. If you have more
than 40 Alerts, the alerts will not go through. Back to Top
Spam Folder
Alerts may be going to your Spam folder.
To check your Spam folder:
1. Open your e-mail box.
2. Click the Spam Folder link.
3. Highlight any items from AOL Alerts,
then click the This is Not Spam
button.

Adding Alerts to Address Book
Putting the screen name AOL Alerts into
your Address book helps AOL Alerts to come through.
To add AOL Alerts to your Address Book:
1. On the AOL® toolbar, click Mail,
then click Address Book.
2. When the Address Book opens, click the Add button.
3. Next to Screen Name: type AOL Alerts, then click the Save button.
4. Click the X to close the address book. Back to Top
