| McAfee® Security Center - Special edition from AOL may not update correctly after installing Internet Explorer® 7. You may have to manually update McAfee by following the steps listed below. Note: Non-members or those on the Free AOL® plan can subscribe to McAfee® Internet Security Suite - Special edition from AOL for a substantially discounted annual fee.
Manually Update McAfee® Products
After installing IE 7, multiple information bars will be displayed when you attempt to update McAfee products. These must be accepted to successfully update the products.
To manually update McAfee products:
1. Right-click the McAfee® icon and left-click Update. A browser window will open and display the message Website declined to show this webpage.
2. Click the Go back to the previous page link. A log-in window will be displayed.
3. Type the email address and password for your account, then click Log in. An information bar will be displayed.
4. Click the information bar to continue. An Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to install this software?

5. Click More Options and choose one the three options by clicking it. Ask me every time is set by default.
- Always install software from "McAfee, Inc."
- Never install software from "McAfee, Inc."
- Ask me every time.
6. Click Update. A Log In window will be displayed.
7. Type the email address and password for your account and click Log in.
8. Click the information bar to continue and select Run ActiveX control from the drop-down menu. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to run this ActiveX control?

10. Click the information bar to continue. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to run this ActiveX control?

12. Click the information bar to continue. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to run this ActiveX control?

13. Click the Run button.
14. Click the information bar to continue. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to run this ActiveX control?

16. Click the information bar to continue. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to run this ActiveX control?

18. Click the information bar to continue. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to run this ActiveX control?

19. The information bar will display message that a pop-up was blocked. Click the Update button. The McAfee update window will display an information bar at the top.
20. Click the information bar to continue and select Run ActiveX control from the dropdown menu. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to run this ActiveX control?

22. Click the information bar to continue. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window will display Do you want to run this ActiveX control?
