| Just send a simple text message to 246246. In the body of the text message, type send or 3 or im, the screen name you wish to IM, and then your message. If the IM is not delivered, you will receive an error message saying: ”Sorry, could not find: <screen name>.“ If the IM is successfully delivered, you will not receive a response from AIM® TXT. If your buddy replies to your message, their message will arrive from a different short code (example 265061), to which you can continue replying back and forth. Back to Top
