You can set up e-mail signatures to personalize your e-mail on AOL Desktop for Mac. You can create as many signatures as you like. How To'sCreate an E-mail SignatureYou can create multiple signatures to provide variety to your e-mail. To create an e-mail signature: 1. Click the AOL Desktop v10.1 menu, then click Preferences.
2. Click the Mail icon.
3. Click the Signatures button.
4. Click the + button in the bottom left of the screen to add a signature.
5. Signature 1 comes up under Signature Name.
6. Double-click Signature 1 and type in any name you wish to give to your signature.
7. Type the text you want to use as your signature, adding any text styling features (such as a different font or color) you want from the style toolbar.
8. To select a signature as your default signature, click the Default Signature drop-down menu, then click the name of the signature you wish to set as default.
9. To add another signature repeat step 4 to step 7. Delete an E-mail signatureTo delete an E-mail Signature:
2. Click the Mail icon.
3. Click the Signatures button.
4. Under Signature Name, highlight the name of the signature you want to delete, then click the - button.
5. Click the Delete button.
Add an E-mail SignatureYou can use a stored signature to further personalize your AOL® e-mail. Your stored signatures can be added to the e-mail at any time before you send it. To add/edit an e-mail signature: 1. Click the Mail icon.
2. Click the Write Mail icon.
3. Next to the To: box, click the drop-down menu, then click Signature.Note: If the Signature option has a check mark next to it, do not click it.
4. Click the Signature: drop-down menu, then click the name of the signature you want to use.
Note: You can edit the signature after it has been added to the e-mail. This action not change the stored signature. Related Articles: |
