Problems with launching AOL Radio in AOL software

If you are having issues loading AOL® radio using AOL® software (where the player hangs on "Accessing"), then please try any of the following options.

Option #1 Use AOL radio on Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari

1. Launch an external browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari), and go to http://www.aolradio.com.
2. Click the LISTEN NOW link to launch AOL radio.

Option #2 Use the mini-player version of AOL radio powered by CBS Radio

You can use the mini-player version until the issues are resolved.
This mini-player contains all the stations available on the full AOL radio player.
You can store your Favorites by hitting the circle with a star button.

Note: This player does not have song skipping and pausing features.

Option #3 Check the version of Flash running on your computer

1. Launch the AOL software, and sign on as you normally do. Go to http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/ to check the version of Flash running on your computer.
2. In the Version Information box, if it says 9,0,115,0, please upgrade to version 9,0,124,0.
3. In the Version Information box, if it says 10,0,12,36, you need to uninstall this version of Flash, and install Flash Player version 9,0,124,0.

To download and install Flash Player 9,0,124,0:
1. Download Flash player 9, and then click the Run button.
2. When installation is complete, close AOL and any web browsers you may have open. Restart your computer.
3. Launch AOL and sign in again.
4. Please go to http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/, and ensure that you are running 9,0,124,0.
5. Try launching AOL Radio again.
