Clear browser cookies, cache and history - Internet Explorer 6.0

Cookies and cache are temporary internet files that are stored on your computer to keep track of sites you’ve visited. Cookies and cache are meant to allow faster access to data and store site preferences. These files usually have an expiration date, so they clear on their own but you always have the option of clearing them manually. Follow the steps below to clear your cookies, cache and history in Internet Explorer 6.0.

To clear cookies, cache and history in Internet Explorer 6.0:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.

3. Under the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Cookies.

4. Click OK.

5. In the Temporary Internet files section, click Delete Files.

6. Check the Delete all offline content box, and then click OK.

7. Click Clear History.

8. Click Yes.

9. Click OK.

Poof! Your cookies, cache and history have disappeared in Internet Explorer 6.0.
