Can I access Chat another way?

You can still access the chat feature within AOL Desktop 9.7 for Windows. If you don't already have it installed, AOL Desktop 9.7 is available at http://daol.aol.com/software/aoldesktop97/. Use Keyword: 'Chat Room Listings' to connect to a chat room.

Unfortunately, AOL Desktop for Mac does not support the chat feature.

Blast feature in AIM

You can use AIM's "AIM Blast" feature to create a chat group in AIM. Just visit blast.aim.com, create a group and add your friends!
