What is SMCKids.com?

SMCKids.com is a sister site of AOL Kids and the home of billionaire investor Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club. The Secret Millionaires Club is a new animated series that teaches kids about financial literacy through fun webisodes, games and activities.

In the Secret Millionaires Club, the four distinct characters of Warren, Elena, Jones and Radley solve a new financial dilemma in each weekly edition of the show. In addition to the webisodes, the site also offers interactive learning tools, such as the Buffet Bucks Stock Market. Kids can build their SMC online portfolios by earning Buffett Bucks through participating in the site and investing in companies on the Buffett Bucks Stock Market that scrolls across the site below the menu bar. Games include Financial Flip, Clubhouse Trivia, Earnings Expedition and Compounding Connections.

Other features include the Dollars and Sense blog, written from Radley’s point of view. The blog discusses the character’s thoughts on such topics as the Secret Millionaires Club meeting minutes, investment basics and interesting stories about business-smart kids. Fellow SMC members also have the opportunity to contribute their own blogs as well as ask Warren Buffett questions through Ask Warren.
