How do I cancel my AIM account?

Delete your AIM account? Bummer! We’re sorry to hear that you want to cancel your AIM service, but we'll show you how:

1. Sign in with the Username that you want to cancel at cancel.aol.com. 

2. Answer your Account Security Question.

3. In the bottom right-hand corner of the Manage My Services & Subscriptions page, click Cancel.

4. Select the reason you're canceling your account. 

5. Click Cancel AOL.

6. Your AIM account has been canceled and you'll see the following confirmation at the top of your page:
