What is a Share button?
The Share button is a social bookmarking and sharing tool brought to you by AddThis™. It lets you instantly share a Web page with one click.
Why should I use the Share button?
When you come across something interesting or important that you would like others to know about, the Share button helps you out. You can use the Share button to publish the page to your Web site, social networking site (like Bebo, Facebook, MySpace™, LinkedIn®, and Twitter™), or blog (like Blogger™, WordPress, TypePad®, and Tumblr). You can also e-mail the content without signing in and even save the Web page being viewed to your Internet Explorer® Favorites.
What can I share using the Share button?
You can use the AddThis or Share button to distribute Web sites, blogs, email newsletters, MySpace profiles, Microsoft® Office Live Workspaces, and even embedded content such as videos.

How do I share a Web page?
Ensure that you are signed in to the site (e.g., Bebo and Facebook) through which you would like to share the Web page. Given below are instructions on how to share a Web page either through Bebo or Facebook.
1. Click the Share button on the Web page you would like to share.
2. In the Bookmark & Share window, scroll down and click Bebo (the medium through which you would like to share the Web page).
3. Click Share.
Notes:
- If you are using Bebo, the shared Web page is displayed as a link under your profile Sayings section. You can also add a comment to share along with the link.
- If you are using Facebook, you can either post it to your Profile or send it as an e-mail to your friends.
- If the Post to Profile tab is selected when you click the Share button, the Web page is displayed on your Facebook Profile page for your friends to view.
- If the Send a Message tab is selected when you click the Share button, the Web page is sent out as a link via e-mail to recipients of your choice.
How do I bookmark a Web page?
You can add the Web page to your browser's bookmarks. Given below are the instructions for Internet Explorer.
1. Click the Share button on the Web page you would like to share.
2. In the Bookmark & Share window, scroll down and click Favorites.
3. In the Add a Favorite window, you can rename the Web page to save, and then click the Add button.
When I share a Web page using the Share button, does it send out spam mail?
No. When you share a Web page, it is displayed on your bookmarking/social networking site. AddThis does not automatically send e-mails to contacts in your address book. However, you can share a Web page via e-mail with your friends.
