A full web browser cache can interfere with AOL's features and performance. It might make the service slow or prevent you from downloading and viewing pictures. Clearing the browser cache may fix your problem.
  • If your computer is infected by a virus or a spyware
  • If you have an active Internet connection
  • If your Firewall or anti-virus applications are blocking your e-mails

  • If you or your recipient’s e-mail attachment is blocked by a Firewall

Unable to Open or view attachments

  • A full web browser cache can interfere with AOL's features and performance. It might make the service slow or prevent you from downloading and viewing pictures. Clearing the browser cache may fix your problem.
  • If you have, the software that is compatible with your files in order to open them. For example, if you send someone a WordPerfect file, your recipient must have either the WordPerfect software or a word processing program capable of opening WordPerfect files. Also, make sure the file is compatible with your recipient's computer; a Macintosh machine may not be able to read some Windows files, and vice versa.
  • If your Firewall or anti virus applications are blocking e-mail attachments
  • If the file extension is ".zip”, then you need a compression program like WinZip
