| You may be receiving the message "Cannot print web pages" when
using AOL® OpenRide® or AOL® Explorer for any one of
several reasons. After trying the first solution, check to see if
you can print the web page. If you are still unable to print,
continue using the suggested solutions until the problem is fixed.
You may wish to print or save a copy of these instructions as this
page may not remain visible as you go through the suggested steps.
Solutions
Set Print Margin
If the print margins are not set properly, it will cause the
printer to generate an error when trying to print. Note: Currently in AOL OpenRide the
print margins cannot be adjusted.
To set the print margins in AOL Explorer:
1. Click the File menu, then clickPage Setup.
2. Under the Margins(inches) section, type0.25 in the Left:,Right:, Top: andBottom: boxes, then click the OK button.
3. Try to print the Web page again. Back to Top
Clear Print Spool
The print spool may be stuck trying to print another page.
Clearing the print spool can often resolve this issue.
To clear the print spool:
1. On the Windows® taskbar near the clock, double-click thePrinter icon.
2. Select the print jobs in progress, then click the Delete button.
