How do I add contacts in AOL WebMail?

When you send an e-mail, the recipients who are not on your Contacts list are automatically added. However, you can also manually add contacts to your Address Book.

To manually add an e-mail address to your Address Book
1. Sign on to AOL WebMail by going to http://webmail.aol.com.
2. In the left panel, click Contacts.

3. Click the New drop-down menu, and then click New Contact.

4. In the Nickname box, type a nickname for the contact.

5. In the Contact Name box, type the name of the person.
6. In the Screen Name box, type the person's AOL or AIM® screen name.
7. In the Email 1 box, type the e-mail address.

Notes:

  • If you have more than 1 e-mail address of the person, click the + Another link to add it.
  • You can have a maximum of 2 e-mail addresses of the person.

8. In the Primary Phone box, type the phone number of the person.

Note: Click the + Another link to add up to 5 phone numbers of the person.

9. Next to Category, click the Select Group drop-down menu to open it, and then choose the desired group by clicking it.

Note: If you wish to add more details, click the Work, Home, and/or Personal link next to Add More Detail, and then update the required information.

10. Click Create.
