How do I manage events on my AOL Calendar?

AOL Calendar gives you the option of scheduling a one-time event like a party, as well as repeating events such as monthly bingo or weekly soccer practice. An event created in one calendar can be moved to any other calendar that you have View and Edit permissions for or any additional calendars that you have created. When you add an event(s) from a Planner or use the Add to my Calendar option anywhere on the AOL service, the event is automatically added to your primary calendar by default. These events can be moved to another calendar as well.

Check out the FAQs given below to know more about using and managing calendar events.

Click and hold the event that you wish to reschedule, and then drop it on the date (Month view), date and time (Week view), or time (Day view) as desired.

What do I do if I am not receiving event updates?

If you are not receiving updates to events on your calendar, it may be because you copied an event from another calendar. When you copy events, any changes made by the owner of the event will not appear on your calendar.

To have the event appear on your calendar and to receive updates regarding changes, contact the owner of the calendar and ask him/her to invite you through the Tell a Friend link on the event. When you accept a calendar invitation from the owner of an event, you automatically receive email notifications any time the calendar owner edits or updates the event.

If the owner of the calendar previously invited you to an event, he/she needs to delete you from his/her list of Usernames and email addresses on the Tell a Friend screen, and then re-enter your Username or email address in order to re-send the invitation to you.
