| You may receive the error message "We are unable to send this message because it contains too many embedded images or attachments. Please reduce the number of attachments and try again. Error: ML0027" if the number of attachments or embedded images that you are trying to send exceeds the file size limit for e-mails. The largest piece of e-mail that you can send to or accept from the Internet is 16 megabytes (MB). This includes the message text, headers, and attachment. If you are sending more than one file and the files exceed 16 MB, you will need to either compress the file or split it into smaller parts. Listed below are some solutions that will help you resolve this issue.
Solutions
Reduce the number of attachments
To reduce the number of attachments in the AOL software 1. At the bottom of the Write Mail window, click the attachment that you wish to remove. 2. Click the Detach File button.
Reduce the number of embedded images
To reduce the number of embedded images in the AOL® software, in the Write Mail window, right-click the image that you wish to remove from the e-mail, and then click Delete.
Send files using Instant Messages
If a file is too large to be sent by e-mail, you can exchange the file with your buddies using Instant Messages (IMs). Both you and your buddy must be online to exchange files.
