On AOL® WebMail, you can modify an existing signature or create a new one if it's your first signature.
If your signature does not appear as expected, please check the signature section in the settings area of AOL WebMail to ensure that the formatting has not changed. For more information, refer to the Modify an existing signature section below. Always ensure that you click Save after making any changes in the settings area of AOL WebMail.

Modify an existing signature
To modify an existing e-mail signature 1. Sign on to AOL WebMail by going to http://webmail.aol.com. 2. On the upper right, click the Settings link.
 3. In the left panel, click the Compose link.
 4. Edit your signature's text and formatting in the text box that appears under Signature.

Note: The rich text mode is enabled by default in AOL WebMail. If you want your signature to appear in plain text, ensure that you clear the Use Rich Text / HTML Editing check box.
 5. Ensure that you click Save at the bottom of the page for the changes to take effect. If Save is not visible, scroll down to see it.

You can now click Compose to see your signature appear at the bottom of the e-mail.

Create a new signature
To create an e-mail signature 1. Sign on to AOL WebMail by going to http://webmail.aol.com. 2. On the upper right, click the Settings link.
 3. In the left panel, click the Compose link.
 4. In the Rich Text / HTML section, under Signature, click the drop-down menu, and then click Use signature.
 5. In the box that appears, enter the text for your signature. You can also choose the formatting options for your signature here.

Note: The rich text mode is enabled by default in AOL WebMail. If you want your signature to appear in plain text, ensure that you clear the Use Rich Text / HTML Editing check box.
 6. Ensure that you click Save at the bottom of the page for the changes to take effect. If Save is not visible, scroll down to see it.
 If you want your buddy icon to appear in your signature, click the Show AIM presence icon in the signature check box.
Note: You cannot include other images, logos, or icons in your e-mail signature while using AOL WebMail.

You can now click Compose to see your signature appear at the bottom of the e-mail.
