| If you are currently using the unified Inbox style, you can switch to the New/Old mailbox style. All new AOL® WebMail users (members who have just registered for a new e-mail address) will get the unified Inbox view only. Please follow the instructions given below to switch to the New/Old mail folders.
Important: The number of days an e-mail can stay in your mailbox depends on the type of mailbox that you are using and the folder in which the e-mail is saved. To learn more, please read our online help article How long are my e-mails stored in my mailbox.
Switch to the New/Old view1. If you are using AOL® 9.5 or AOL 9.1, go to AOL® Keyword: Mailbox Switch.
Note: All other AOL users can switch to New/Old view using this link: http://inbox.aol.com/mail/changeMailboxStyle?style=auto. Ensure that you are signed on to the AOL software using your screen name and password. 2. Click Switch to New/Old.
3. Once you get the confirmation, click X.
Note: The changes will take effect when you restart the AOL® software and sign on again. 4. Once you sign in using your AOL screen name and password, this is how your mailbox would look:
- AOL 9.5 or AOL 9.1
- AOL WebMail
