How do I send Instant Messages with AIM TXT?

Before using AIM TXT, you'll need to sign in to AIM TXT.

Sending an Instant Message (IM) with AIM TXT is super easy! Text send, 3 or im, the Username you wish to IM, and then your message (for example: send chattingchuck Hi Chuck!) to 246246.

If the IM is not delivered, you'll receive a message saying, "<Username> is not available."

If the IM is successfully delivered, you will not receive a response from AIM TXT. If your buddy replies to your message, the message will arrive from a different short code (example 265061) to which you can continue replying back and forth.
