- AIM Mail
The AIM team is focused on providing you with a the best chat experience possible. We realize some users have been using the AIM page strictly to access their email accounts. We highly encourage you access your email through AOL Mail instead.
- IE & AIM.com
AIM.com is not supported on Internet Explorer versions 7 or earlier. Please upgrade to the latest Internet Explorer version, or use another browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Unread Count
Unread counts are sometimes inaccurate and inconsistent between different apps.
- Conversation Syncing
Complete conversation syncing is only available when chatting with other users of AIM and in AIM group chats. Conversations with people using older versions of AIM will be available locally, but will not synchronize between devices (this includes AIM 7, iChat, and third party chat clients, such as Adium, Trillian, Pidgin, or Digsby). If you switch from your desktop AIM to your mobile phone AIM app, you will not see your conversation history with someone who isn't on the latest version of AIM. Chats with Google Talk users will be partially synced. Facebook chats will not be synced.
