If you're having issues sending or receiving AOL Mail using Eudora, check whether your Eudora software settings match those that are explained below. To repair Eudora to send or receive AOL Mail:1. Launch the Eudora software.
Note: If Eudora is not your default mail program, you may be prompted to specify whether you want Eudora as your default mail program. 2. Click the Tools menu, and then click Personalities.
3. Right-click the Persona name corresponding to the email address you are facing issues with, and then click Properties.
4. In the Generic Properties tab, confirm your account settings as mentioned below.
5. Verify the following in the Incoming Mail tab, and then click OK.
Note: AOL Mail supports both POP3 and IMAP, but we recommend you use IMAP. If you are still unable to access your AOL Mail using Eudora, please delete the Persona you're having issues with and create a new persona. To delete a Persona, right-click the Persona name corresponding to the email address you're facing issues with, and then click Delete. IMPORTANT: You cannot delete your Dominant persona.
